You will not get a chance to see these movies easily anywhere else. Even if you are not an attendee, do drop by and catch a glimpse of what's going on right now in the queer South Asian film community. The film lineup is:

Voices against IPC Section 377 (16 mins)
A documentary film made by Sopan Muller about the signature campaign led by Humsafar Trust, Mumbai in support of the ammendment of Article 377 of the Indian Penal Code that criminalizes homosexuality in India.
Blue and Yellow (16 mins)
A film made by Niranjan Kamatkar during the filming of the feature film "Yours, Emotionally!" getting various perspectives of being south asian and gay.
Bollywood/Lollywood (12 mins)
A collection of music videos dealing with desire and sexuality through queer erotic images, that pay homage to, and subvert the visual codes of the dominant and rigid notions of gender, sexuality and culture in Lollywood and Bollywood.
In the name of Allah (12 mins)
An exerpt from film maker Parvez Sharma's highly acclaimed and unprecedented documentary, which explores the complex global intersections of Islam and homosexuality, and brings to light the hidden lives of lgbt Muslims
Milind Soman Made Me Gay (20 mins)
A film made by Harjant Gill, this movie dives into the memory-scape of four South Asian gay men living in the diaspora, to reveal how each negotiates his sexual desire with his cultural and religious identity. The float is inspired from an old Bollywood classic film Mughal-e-Azam and recreates a Palace movie set. Come dressed in your ethnic attire if you want to be on top of the 30 foot long colorful float. After the parade, hang out at the Trikone booth in the festival area. All are invited to march as a contingent with other LGBTQI people in the San Francisco Pride Parade. Come see what we can do when we come together and celebrate with 500,000 people (http://www.sfpride.org/).
